Ha'Penny Bridge
More Info
Accepted as the symbol of Dublin, the Ha'penny Bridge was opened in 1816. Cast at Coalbrookdale in Shropshire in England, the bridge acquired its unofficial moniker from the toll paid to cross the river - one old half penny. The bridge was the only pedestrian bridge on the Liffey until the new Millennium bridge further up was opened in 2000

Old Chapter House at Christ Church Dublin
Externally the cathedral seems to wander all over the hillside on which it is built. After its initial completion the building was extended lengthwise rather than upwards. There are remains in the grounds of a chapter house dating from the time it was a monastery church and the original long choir was removed in the 1870s by G.E Street.
